bumpy lately--on the potty training trail

Now that Will is three, he has begun his potty training adventures--pray for us. Good news is that #1 is going well--# 2 has been missing in action for two days--fingers crossed for the weekend.  Here's a recent pic of Will and I out on the front porch in the morning--we like to sit and listen to the birds and wait for trains to go by and look out for squirrels, bunnies and dogs being walked.

life's been a roller coaster

So, if a picture would describe the last year or so best, it would be this one.

Jim has been looking for a job for over a year.  The stress has been high for me and sometimes you feel like you are just getting through day by day. Some days are fast and some are slow.

One the happy side, Will is doing great.  He is learning so much and so fast.  He is very curious, quick to learn and has the most wonderful laugh.  Here are some recent pics of him.  He will be 3 in early June.

As for our catching up, it will probably be something like a cross between a time warp Star Trek episode meets the movie Groundhog Day--some pics and tales from the past, along with today's craziness.
